Introduction
The Digital Hub ("we", "our", "us") values your trust and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we handle information collected through www.thedigihub.in, our retail stores in Gandhinagar & Ahmedabad, and our WhatsApp / phone channels — in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
Information We Collect
- Contact data: name, mobile, email, billing & shipping address.
- Order data: products purchased, IMEI, payment method, invoices.
- Payment data: processed by PayU Money. We do not store card numbers or CVVs.
- Device data: IP, browser type, OS, pages viewed, search terms (via analytics).
- Communications: messages exchanged via WhatsApp, email, or our contact forms.
- KYC (only where required for finance/EMI): shared securely with the lender.
How We Use Your Data
- To process orders, issue invoices, ship products and provide warranty support.
- To send order updates, OTPs and delivery notifications.
- To offer customer support and respond to your queries.
- To improve our website, catalogue, and service quality.
- To comply with legal obligations (GST, IT Act, consumer law).
- To send marketing communication — only if you have opted-in. You can opt out at any time.
Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption, role-based access, and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Payment data is handled by PayU, a PCI-DSS compliant gateway. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure.
Your Rights (under DPDP Act, 2023)
- Right to access a summary of personal data we hold about you.
- Right to correction, completion, updating or erasure of inaccurate data.
- Right to withdraw consent for marketing communication.
- Right to nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.

Data Retention
We retain order and tax records for 8 years as required under GST and Income-Tax law. Marketing data is retained only while you remain subscribed. You can request deletion of non-statutory data at any time.
